Mecky
You save and it will hurt profits, therefore BG will just increase their tariffs to compensate.

Yes, but if they do this then people will switch tariff or provider, so they won't gain.
mlfc
Yes, but if they do this then people will switch tariff or provider, so they won't gain. The problem is that most people don't switch though which is half of the reason the suppliers are so complacent. (High cost of entry into the market is the other). IMO that is
poppet2
I'm surprised just how cheap some of these household appliances are, to run on electricity. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/consumertips/household-bills/10215981/British-Gas-free-electricity-on-Saturdays-10-ways-to-take-advantage.html
Isabelle
I looked at this, but you have to live in a house to get it, people living in flats aren't eligible
erebus
So how do they know what you use on any day of the week when bills come in every 3 months. What happens to those that pay with a key? Its not about smart meters, as the smart thing to do is make people pay and pay more and more all the time. Its a lie, intended to sell one product for the gullible....hope So you hope while your pockets are emptied, unaware it is actually happening.....ever heard of propaganda? What propaganda is for, how and why it is used?
