Dose anyone know if you can fly with hardening of the arteries ?

just need a bit of advice

 

I'm booking a holiday for my mum and she suffers with hardening of the arteries and shes never been abroad before but is worrying me to see if she can fly or not

 

any information will be appreciated

Yes, she can fly...but double check her Travel Insurance as certain heart ailments should be declared when taking it out, but as far as the flight goes..there shouldn't be problems.

As has been said check with her GP, also make sure she gets insurance from a company that specialises in Pre existing Medical Conditions, she needs to declare all her problems. When I 1st had my surgery I had to get a letter form my GP saying she was happy for me to fly, now I cannot go anymore, hope she gets sorted.

 

If she has an insurance provider she needs to request to go through their medical screening, most should do it that offer travel insurance.:)
