L00b
If they are that well camouflaged how do you find them to milk them? Do the farmers use teams of specialist cowdaver dogs? or is there a simpler explanation?Cows voluntarily submit to milking, as they unfortunately lack opposable thumbs to do it themselves. But, speaking of camooflage, they all undergo ninja training to administer cow licks in the dead of night. 'tis a well-known fact

Catalytic osmosis, through trans-ionic bonding metabolates, incorporating bio-luminescent trans-induction theory (on non-inductional macro thermoplasty modelling, of course). ---------- Post added 29-10-2013 at 11:30 ---------- Cows voluntarily submit to milking, as they unfortunately lack opposable thumbs to do it themselves. Super Hans
Cows don't really 'eat' the grass they eat the bacteria and stuff on the grass. I don't know why you asked such a dumb question and put it in here instead of I'm Bored but yeah. There's usually an evolutionary reason for animal colour. White people are white because we usually live in cold countries and so don't need as much melanin to absorb sunlight because there's not much there. Black people are black because they descend from hot countries and so have lots of melanin in their skin so they don't burn or develop skin cancer. Zebras are stripy black and white due to an effect called dazzle camouflage which makes it harder for predators to hunt them because it's hard to judge distance / direction when a big group of zebras are running away together - it's the reason a group of zebras is called a dazzle. I won't go on because there's about a million different reasons a million different animals are a million different colours so let's just leave it there. What colour were zebras before the First Word War? ... Dazzle camouflage was only just invented then (attributed to Norman Wilkinson or the Cubists, although Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark could also have helped when very young), and first used on ships ... hence the term 'Dazzle Ships'. Are zebras just a new invention?

Are zebras just a new invention? Zebras eat yellowy brown grasses on plains, are they not in fact yellowy brown? On another note, there is no reason why anything is any colour, it just is. If you look too deeply into anything you'll only ever come out with the same conclusion: there is no point.

Are zebras just a new invention? As with many ideas including regular camouflage, humans are inspired by nature. I could be wrong but I reckon the army looked at a zebra and said, we'll try that, as opposed to a zebra being plain before WW1 but seeing a dazzle boat and saying, "I'm going to make myself look like that". What I'm saying is, the army learned from nature. Not the other way around.
