Free cavity wall insulation again!!

I have been told for years that I cannot have my cavity wall insulated due to the fact that my inner skin has some insulation already on it even though it is freezing!!! With energy prices going up I researched into it a bit more recently.

 

I have now had my cavity wall insulated free of charge. I called 2RED ltd from Nottingham who sent somebody out who did a survey, 10 days later it was done.

 

Just thought I would post this as it was not a means tested grant- it is free to everybody. They explained because it has not been able to be done before it is available to anyone who have walls that were insulated at time of build but still has an available cavity.

 

Very friendly team who came to do the job and would recommend 2RED to anyone.

i had someone come to do a house for a relative first i called keapmoat who sent someone from carrilion who then sent someone from dyson to come and do the work. i got the loft done but heard nothing about the cavity walls.

Worth giving this company a call. I think they are a smaller firm so they give that extra bit of care and attention
