Peer Gynt
Really? I haven't seen any such prohibition in any stores.. Then you haven't been let out much have you. ---------- Post added 04-11-2013 at 14:20 ---------- You are not allowed into stores with a helmet on, or a balaclava. But yet, fully covered up foreign folks are. But that is a topic for another time. Mustn't upset 'Johnny/Joanie Foreigner' especially if they're Muslims or you'll be accused of Islamaphobia. PeteMorris
Really? I haven't seen any such prohibition in any stores. Eughh.."fully covered up foreign folk", that says a lot about your mindset. It probably escapes your thinking that many women who choose to wear the burka aren't in fact foreign. I've definitely been on garage forecourts, where the tannoy asks motorcyclists to remove their helmet....Before filling up!....But that's another issue I suppose! Peer Gynt
Don't most garage forecourts insist motor cyclists remove their helmet?... Just a thought! No you must ask not insist just as Alien52 although Alien52 doesn't tell you what to do if they refuse. ---------- Post added 04-11-2013 at 14:23 ---------- I've definitely been on garage forecourts, where the tannoy asks motorcyclists to remove their helmet....Before filling up!....But that's another issue I suppose! More pertinently have you seen someone in a burka filling their car up with petrol? Can't say I have!

Regardless of that it still hides identity, after all it could be an absconding Somali. ---------- Post added 04-11-2013 at 14:25 ---------- More pertinently have you seen someone in a burka filling their car up with petrol? boyfriday
[/color] I've been in a bank where a motorcyclist has been asked to remove his helmet. I've been in a bank and seen a burka wearer be told she'd have to remove her burka for identification purposes and was happily escorted to a private room to enable that without any drama or embarrassment on anybodies part. Peer Gynt
If they discover a larger proportion than they anticipated are burka wearers then presumably they'll introduce products that 'women who wear burkas' are likely to purchase-whatever they might be. So you know that as a fact do you. ---------- Post added 04-11-2013 at 14:28 ---------- I've been in a bank and seen a burka wearer be told she'd have to remove her burka for identification purposes and was happily escorted to a private room to enable that without any drama or embarrassment on anybodies part. Yet the judge had to order a woman in court (a court of this land) to remove hers.
Peer Gynt
Why should they? Were they or anyone for that matter asked or informed that they were being facially scanned? back out are you? What does it matter If they refuse to uncover their faces then they should not be allowed to use the facilities.
boyfriday
So you know that as a fact do you. It seems like common sense to me, why would a company invest in the technology and then not ignore the data it provided?
