metalman
Do you have any approximate dates of birth or birthplaces for any of them? And were the last three the children of the first two? If you let me know I could have a look for them.

sweetdexter
I had this problem with the 1881 census. A whole generation missing ,or so I thought. Then I found them. The census taker had left the "S" off the end of the name. So look for variants of the spelling
retep
Jackpot 73 Eyre Lane. Charles Hoole 31 police constable Jane 30 Alfred 8 Lilly 6 Jane 3 My tip is if you have an unusual name it helps- in this case Lilly- use the first name only and if you know where they were born it helps and age-in this case I used FreeBMD to age the family
