Dentzler
http://distractify.com/news/how-america-is-turning-kids-into-sissies/ Whilst I personally would agree over sissie regulation replaces children's independence and individuality. I would like to think these incidents are selectively biased and not conclusive in the US nor here in UK. unfortunately though I doubt it.... ronthenekred
Honestly I don't know what "over sissy regulation" is. You've pointed to a dozen or so extreme cases which by their newsworthiness are extreme. If your question was "are some adults messed up" then yeah, I'll go along with that. So I think your initial conclusion is right..very selective, although that isn't mirrored by your vote. It would take a lot more conclusive evidence for me to vote yes. *_ash_*
Those cases in the link weren't the norm. If the question is based on something like that, then no. If it's based entirely on your question and not the link, then still no. So I voted no. - Edit:, however if the question was something like 'are children [in general] today, slightly more sissy* than the children of 100 years ago?', then it would almost certainly be yes. But that's just mainly due to working practices of children/far worse poverty in those days, in comparison to today. *based on how this word is used in context today
Epic Fail
I'm not forcing my children to become sissies.
GLASGOWOODS
Maybe it's the Health n Safety culture nowadays. Threats of being sued.Banning kids from doing this n that etc: And the drop-out rate of kids en-listing to our armed forces has never been higher.
