Blunkett - Influx of Roma migrants could cause riots.

Recommended Posts

What you have to remember is this:

a. It cost £20k for a house in Romania.

b. The wages in England are four times higher then in Romania.

c. This is the biggest incentive for them to come here, whether on minimum wage or black market wages.

d. Regardless, this country needs immigrants, to pay our current and future pensions bill.

Getting a couple of million people into work would be far better way to pay our current and future pensions bill.

Not really, because this number is offset every year with the number of people retiring in our country. As a result of the drop in the birth rate throughout Europe, we will constantly need emigrants to fill our deficit in the economy. It's a fact of life.

Before you know it we will be building houses on people and out of people, plenty of food though if you like people on the sandwich. :)

Years ago, for every pensioner living, there were 4 people under pension age contributing to one persons pension through taxes. Now there are only two.

So although the population has increased, and we are constantly being told that more people than ever are working, at the same time, more pensioners than ever are living longer.

Immigrants have more children which means a higher working population contributing more taxes.

Whilst that might be true, those workers are also supporting millions of people of working age that don't work, getting them into work and increasing the pension age will solve the problem without increasing the population, which would be a far bigger problem.

Eh! How come? Only 6.8% of the UK is built on.

Your plan requires perpetual population expansion, and each new person means less land to produce food, off cause this doesn't matter if you are only thinking about yourself and not the future generations.
