Yorkshire multi-millionaire businessman backs UKIP

Recommended Posts

Don't we all try and get the result we want by voting?

Some people do a bit more than just voting, like canvassing, becoming politicians or offering financial support.

Unions offer financial support to Labour to get the result they want, but in their case that support won't be representative of all their members.

If Sykes wants to offer financial support to UKIP because they best represent the direction he wants to see this country going, then good look to him....We all have our own reasons for supporting/voting for various political parties.

Regards

Doom

Sykes tried supporting the Conservatives, Goldsmiths Referendum Party as well as UKIP just to support his wish that we get out of Europe. Money buys lots of things, he is reported saying the reason for UKIP's fourfold increase in seats at the 2004 election was a result of the party having "more loot" than the others.

..and this is a good thing?

Do you think Sykes and donors from the Tory party have the slightest interest in the plight of the working man or woman?

They seem have more regard for the plight of people like live in Page Hall than any "working class" Labour politician, who lets face it, are ideologically driven to bring the 3rd world to this country and forcing them on communities.

Ok, well other than people of Page Hall what will they do for the rest of the nation, our economy, global trade and relations?

Try reading their policies and make your own mind up. I won't expect a reply for a couple of days. :hihi::P

It will take him that long to stop laughing.

Most UKIP members are middle class, middle-aged reactionaries as personified by public school ex-Tory ex City trader Farage. Look at the addresses of the UKIP candidates at last year's council elections in Sheffield. Postcodes S10 and S11 were a lot more frequent than S5.

He's going to lose a great deal of money.

No more than any other political backer for any other party. Lets face it, unless the communist party has a shock win at the next election his millions, and other millionaires across the political spectrum will be safe if ukip win or not - unless he's expecting a bonus payout if big nige moves into number 10.

He won't be standing in your constituency.

He supported Thatcher in the 80s. What do you think?

The Tories' policy is to stay in Europe. And as you admit that they're lying then you're contradicting your own argument that they've changed a policy when as you say they haven't at all.

His choice, thats democracy, try it sometime.

I really don't care for their background much if they're decent folk, though incidentally as a UKIP member I'm none of those you think of as the stereotype, I wonder if the forums other UKIP members would describe themselves as middle class, middle-aged, public school educated, ex-Tories, ex-City traders?
