Rockin' Against Cancer - The Scholar, Saturday 30th November! A night of great music, raffles, food and general fun all in aid of 2 great local charities!!! The proceeds from the night will be split 50/50 between Weston Park Cancer Charity and St Luke's Hospice. The night will be held at The Scholar on London Road who have very kindly donated their pub for the night for free so huge thanks to them! We now have 4 acts confirmed: Marion Jeffery (Trditional Scottish Folk) Ryan Birch (Acoustic Covers) Pretend Best Friend (Powerpop) Bad Whiskey (Classic Rock Covers) Doors are at 8pm and the music will run to midnight! Entrance is £5 and their will be a raffle, food and other events on over the course of the evening with all proceeds being donated to the good causes. So, why not come down if you have been touched by cancer or just want to give something back or even if you just want a good rockin' night. Let's make this a night to remember!
