For those unaware, The Indie Project is a brand new night that brings some of the very best unsigned indie bands to Sheffield from out of town in a filmed show with a format unlike other gigs in the city. This week there is five bands and an acoustic artist playing. Here's the lineup. The Minx The Darlingtons Rawcuss Tokyo Corner The Bright Young People Ollie King Presented and hosted by the mighty CK Goldiing DJ Ryan Vaughan will be also on hand to play some of the very best indie anthems and tracks by unsigned bands from around the UK The Indie Project is at The Old Grindstone for a 6 week run and is already proving extremely popular with Sheffield musicians and bands as well as promoters and music journalists who are all frequenting the event. Entry is completely free for this 6 week run (this is week 3 of 6) and everyone is welcome. Look up the bands playing on YouTube. There's some serious talent coming this week on a packed lineup. It's different, it's ambitious and it's pure quality from start to finish.
