Who are the Palestinian people?

Recommended Posts

The 'palestinian' people are very few in number. Their claim to the land of palestine is dubious at best. They are being played like fools by the arab powerhouses in the region, doing their dirty work as it were. They will never 'reclaim their land' and thats an end to it. How many people die as a result of this is down to them and them alone.

I wish them all the best, they are people after all but they simply wont have any sort of life or future if they continue down the road they are heading.

They need to accept that and then maybe they can lead productive decent lives and have something positive to look back on in old age.

How many die is not solely down to them. I can't help but find your best wishes insincere.

No, the Jews are. The Jews are the pawns in the game of International chess and always have been for some reason. Nobody is really sure why they left Canaan in the first place although it's possible they were fleeing famine or plague..

Good to know we are not sure; I always thought that after several rebellions against Roman rule, their temple was destroyed, many of them taken as slaves, and still the remnant revolted again, until the Roman Empire removed organised Jewish society from Palestine.

Settlement of Jews outside Palestine already existed, but after 70 AD the Romans drove out Jews from Palestine:

"After the Bar Kochba Revolt of 132-135 AD the Romans engaged in mass executions and enslavement, and destroyed large numbers of Judaean towns, forbidding Jews from settling in Jerusalem or its environs (Dio Cassius, Roman History 69.12-14); there was no further Jewish government or overarching legal system thereafter in Judaea; this effectively turned the expatriate Jews of the Diaspora into a permanently exiled people with no national homeland. "

Apologies again for quoting from the Wikipaedia source, but it is the easiest place for study to start; those with academic library connections `may pursue some of my references available through subscribing libraries.

I think there are certain sick people out there that want to 'wipe out the Palestinians' and anything to do with them, so that the Zionists can take over their land.

You won't hear that on the mainstream news but that's what it boils down to.

There are extremists in charge of Israel and that's exactly what they'd like to do.

I guess if they were mice you'd have a little more empathy.

Im sorry for your confusion but its the other way around. People want to see Israel wiped off the map. Are you one of these? Would you even dare answer in the affirmative if that was your true feelings? Im sure you would dare as in my experience, the Jewish people are still one of the most discriminated against group in the world.

And have been for centuries, aside from wars look at the Black Death plague when that killed millions across Europe in the 14th Century. I was watching a documentary about it a while back, and it said that Jews were blamed by people for that as well, and thousands upon thousands were murdered.

What's your opinion on the way Israel treats the Palestinians? - both within Israel, in the Occupied West Bank, and Gaza (with their blockade)?

Do you condemn Tel Aviv for their brutality against the average Palestinian man, woman, and child?

Yes, that was another sad time for the Jewish people. Happily though we are still around today despite some peoples best efforts throughout mankind's troubled past.

Could you link me to the documentary please, Pete? It sounds interesting and worth watching.

Peace and love to you my friend :)

It would seam the Palestinians are treated well.

Palestinian Newspaper Admits: Israel Helps Palestinians

The daily noted that 30% of the child patients in Hadassah are Palestinians and that the Israeli hospital is training "60 Palestinian medical interns and specialist physicians who will be returning to the [Palestinian] Authority areas to carry out their work." The hospital has a special program to train Palestinian doctors to treat cancer among children, reported the PA daily.

219,464 Palestinian patients received medical treatment in Israeli hospitals during 2012 – 21,270 of them children. These numbers include companions accompanying the patients to Israel.

Israel facilitates the entry of humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip for the benefit of the civilian population, despite the fact that Gaza is controlled by Hamas - a terrorist organization that has declared its intention to eliminate the Jewish State.

The amount and variety of goods entering Gaza every day has increased exponentially since 2010.

The only goods restricted are weapons, war materials and certain items that have military as well as civilian applications.

July 2013

- 6,639 truckloads of goods, including 2,102 truckloads of food products and 1,952 truckloads of construction materials, were delivered from Israel to Gaza.

- 109 truckloads of goods and boxes were exported from Gaza.

- 6,128 Palestinians, including medical patients, passed into Israel through the Erez Terminal.
