The New Moor Market

Recommended Posts

What if the customers refuse to co-operate? At the point market prices approach/exceed the prices in the supermarkets the customers will simply shop there instead

Money is a very corrupting factor of society and can turn a very beautiful market into a useless meaningless dream.

If I were a little boy dreaming of the best perfect bicycle and start designing it getting all the perfect parts, it could cost as much as the space shuttle.

It is well known that politicians want to make great things like eurojet, High speed rail, Olympic stadiums. But often these dreams are not in touch with the financial aspects of reality.

Maybe the Town Hall will be stalling till after the election, they would not dream of such a thing would they ??? :suspect:

They may well have to wait until the next budget period, an decrease in rent prices means the council have to find more money from other areas to cover the shortfall on the loan payments. The council don't just operate the market!

Perhaps the Council should charge a small admission fee for market customers and 'invoice' them for overstaying?
