With winter descending upon us, would you go on a date with a girl who would be shallow enough to only date you if you had a car? I think the thread says more about you than the person you are attempting to attack. We all have preferences be it a partner with hair, tall, slim, house owning, non smoker, no tattoos, doesn't own a pit bull or for that matter a car. I can't see how someone is shallow because they have a preference. So if that is your criteria of shallow then yes I would go out with her. I would probably draw the line about going out with a sad prat who starts a thread about it and then spends an entire evening posting on the subject. Now that is going too far.
