My compassion for someone goes beyond their assets or some estimation of the capacity of their intelligence. Well said, Mecky! I agree. I was lucky; my girlfriend was intelligent and capable; neither of us had much money. We split the fee for the marriage licence -- 3s 9d each! The way I see it is this, I'm sure most blokes don't actually struggle to get dates, so if a girl is taking the **** you just move on to the next one.
