Two Teds make unique Bowie knives

I have in my possession a Bowie knife made circa 1979 by a man called Ted Beety.He was a manager at Richards in Sheffield at that time.I believe there was a second knife made by a man with the same initials TB.

The handel is brass(i think) with inset mother of pearl and the blade stainless steel.

The only difference between these two knives is the pattern on the handel.

does anyone know the whearabouts of the second knife?

There was a fellow who worked out of the John Street area complex who used to make some fantastic Bowie knives, unfortunately i don`t have his name but maybe somebody on this post will know.

There always used to be a bloke at Kelham Island that made knives and such. Perhaps you could show them to him?

no idea mate,and the bloke who definately knew died about a month ago, his name was John Roberts of Sheffield Precision Eng Ltd.

If anybody knew the landlords name of the complex then this could solve your enquiry.
