HRUFC Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Hallamshire RUFC, Sheffields newest rugby club is looking for players for both the Senior and Junior section of the club. Junior coaching (Ages 6 and upwards) is held every Sunday Morning at King Edwards Community Sports Centre in Crosspool (Off Darwin Lane, S10 5RG) from 10am. The sessions are run by a Former South Yorkshire Elite Coach and assisted by RFU trained coaches. All are welcome and no previous experience is required. Just come down and join in the fun. Hallamshire RUFC operates 2 senior teams, one competes in the Yorkshire Leagues whilst the other team provides social rugby. Training takes place on Tuesday (7:30pm) and Thursday (8:15pm) Nights at King Edwards, anyone is welcome to pitch up on the night. Hallamshire also operate O2 Touch Sheffield on Thursday nights from 8:15pm on the astro turf. O2 Touch is a great way to keep fit and be part of a fun and social event. No previous experience is required, with a "pick up and play" philosophy adopted by the RFU trained Coaches. Sessions cost £1, but a free bottle of Lucozade is on offer to all participants.
