I reckon he's got himself into a situation he couldn't get out of. Perhaps he's been on the books of the agency but couldn't actually do any signing. When they asked him to do this job, he couldn't come clean and admit that he'd been faking it. Maybe he said yes to this job without realising what it actually was. What a way to be exposed as a fake!! Even more bizarre that he's blaming it on a schizophrenic episode. Err, like that'd make any difference if you didn't have the skills in the first place!
