Guest
Why ? Why? My daughter has one who is soft as a brush. Kept on the lead if out in the woods and other dogs are around, NOT because dexter is anti dogs, buts he's such a wuss, that other dogs tend to attack him. Dexter just sits there shivering. Stop generalising, all dogs are dangerous if not trained properly. I don't mean put existing dogs down, what I mean is we should pick a date, say, 1st January 2015, after which its not allowed to breed them after that date and any dog deemed by vets to be younger than that date should regrettably be put down. RootsBooster
Maybe we should....maybe we need to know the stats of the attacks...which dogs are most involved in them...? Probably the ones encouraged to be aggressive most, and seeing as many people wanting to make an aggressive dog choose a Staffy (for their physical appearance), they will undoubtedly appear on that list. The problem isn't the dog breed though, it's the people who mould them.

I don't know what the solution is.... it appears that action is only taken after the event at the moment.. and for a few people that's too late... Ideally there should be more control over who can own a dog but I don't think that'd be workable
Cyclone
Quite right but there's a difference between being bitten by a Chihuahua and a Staffy, Saffy.... So you think all large dogs should be illegal then? ---------- Post added 12-12-2013 at 10:49 ---------- I'm not disagreeing with you.....maybe we should have a dog owner licence? Summarise in <200 words why the previous dog licensing laws were repealed.
