Marksteeler
Moving home today, come to unplumb washing machine but the tap part you push up isn't there to turn water off so when I unscrew it leaks, could I turn the main water off with the stop tap would this allow me to unplumb it. If it's a cold feed only washing machine just turn the water off at the mains. Out of courtesy though put a stop end or something on the pipe so the next occupant doesn't get flooded out when they turn the water back on!!
