Lushcannon
I booked a short break with lastminute.com this week. The online price was £599.When I rang to book I was told the price had gone up to £660 and the company wouldn't honour the price.I therefore said I would shop around for a better price. An hour later I couldn't beat the higher price so rang back to accept the dearer price (the online price had not changed).I got a different operator and said I would like to book the online price-not mentioning my earlier call.I got the holiday at the lower price... dvp82
One of the first rules of ringing call centres I tell people is if you're not getting the answer you want is to just hang up and call back.
