bazza80
There is an organisation on the continent that specialises in nude protests, they certainly ruffle a few feathers and certainly gave Angela Merkil a fright when they gatecrashed on of her events. (see link) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FEMEN In the 60s, topless protesters caused havoc, burning bras etc.... Nude Cyclists also cause havoc when they protest But does nudity work for everyone when protesting? At our place of work some of the men are unhappy with the coarse sexist language often being used by the women in the office. Some of the comments they make when there are workmen outside is downright offensive. Some of the men in the office are planning to make a subtle protest by attending work wearing only our underpants for a day, as a means of making a stand. It could also shock the women into stopping their offensive sexist male banter Do you think nudity is a good weapon when it comes to protesting? boyfriday
Do you think nudity is a good weapon when it comes to protesting? Yes provided you're not protesting against sword dancing.

Ghozer
It could even make them worse, and turn their attentions to you lot.... Could you handle that? What do your partners think of the idea? What is your employers work dress policy? Are any of you public facing?

Maz3
Not sure about this one Bazza. Have you tried raising this with managers or personnel? I agree there's a problem, women have been egged on by the media (coke ad) and some think it's clever. Sometimes a personal approach works. I asked a female colleague with a near naked photo of a film actor (no doubt 'ironic') on her desk, how she would feel if the lads had girlie pin ups everywhere. She took the point and the photo was removed.

The women are always talking about men, if some firemen go past they seem to get all excited and start to be vulgar. All jokes seem to revolve around small willys If we (the men in the IT department) were to attend a team meeting in only our underpants then this may focus the minds on their own sexist ways
