Feeling Chrismassy yet?

Well, what a collection of Scrooges we have here

 

I'm at a 5,75 so far. Would be higher if my Dad wasn't undergoing surgery today (supposedly harmless/benign...but still, he'll be fully under, not a spring chicken, and not exactly the embodiment of healthy living to begin with), my workload was less fraught with last-minute unnecessary problems, my secretary wasn't on holiday all week, and our little one did not play up in the morning (I guess she's got that "I don't do mornings" from me ...though it's been a long and hard school period for her).

 

Tree's been up since 01/12, presents all done and wrapped (except for some of the Mrs', haven't had time yet), food/guests/outings all planned/ordered/etc.

 

Looking very much fwd to it this year (most looked fwd are the get-togethers planned over the period), it's been a particularly long and emotionally-difficult one this year, but a lot of closures were had.
