TheBlueDragon
Hi people. For the past few month I keep getting advertisement texts from EE Recommend which are getting really annoying, I'm getting 3-4 a week. I've text STOP to the number it states and received a text confirming they'd received it and that it will take 4 days to stop. I even called EE to complain. And they said they were stopping them. A month later I were still receiving the texts so on the 20th I text STOP again and received the same confirmation text. Since then I've had another 3 adverts. NorthernStar
Most phones have a way of blocking numbers, trying looking in you're settings to see if you can stop it that way.
TheBlueDragon
I called 150 yesterday to complain and they said "We have now unsubscribed you so you should receive NO MORE marketing messages". Then what am I woke up by this morning? a message from EERecommend. Is there a way to find out what date I 1st text STOP?
simonj
In most cases, responding to what are effectively spam texts and emails only serves to let the 'spammer' know that the number or email address is still active. Very difficult to stop them no matter how much of a High Street name the sender is
