JFKvsNixon
..........(they should be getting fines for things like passing lorries on the wrong side). Why if it is safe to do so? Many times it is much safer to pass traffic on the outside than it is on the inside.
RootsBooster
I already expressed my disapproval of running the red light. My apologies, I mistook your post for one by Squiggs

Cyclone
Isn't the outside where you should pass? It's legal to pass on the inside when filtering through traffic on a cycle or motorbike. ---------- Post added 09-01-2014 at 14:50 ---------- (they should be getting fines for things like passing lorries on the wrong side). Something they are legally entitled to do... It's not always sensible, if for example if the lorry is at the front of a queue or the traffic is starting to move. But in general filtering up the inside of queuing traffic is both sensible and safe. That's two people who apparently can't remember the basic rules in the highway code, I assume that neither of you drive?
