oooo
Is that why UKIP opposes gay marriage? Postal votes are allowed but not time-travelling. In any case UKIP would prefer to go back to 1955. ---------- Post added 23-01-2014 at 17:56 ---------- Some of the policies Nigel has given up include "Ukip will encourage a return to proper dress for major hotels, restaurants and theatres – smarter dress is part of Britishness, although it is also a British virtue to encourage innovation in fashion." West Street will never be the same again on Friday night. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/jan/23/the-ukip-politices-disowned-by-nigel-farage 600,000 signed the petition against gay marriage. Do you think that all 600,000 were ukip supporters? You keep on mudslinging, because it's not working.

You keep on mudslinging, because it's not working. To be fair to UKIP, Nige has admitted why they were against the proposal today in his column in the Express - it was simply because all three main parties were supporting it without it being in their manifestos. I do hope UKIP hasn't voted on anything that they haven't put in their manifesto...

oooo
No, some will have been other varieties of homophobe/bigot. In your opinion. Fact is, 600,000 people did, so that's 600,000 homophobic people that you are sensationally calling bigots. Could it be that this group of people genuinely think gay marriage is wrong for reasons other than bigotry? I would say they probably do, and it's you that has the problem with their opinions. And gays against gay marriage are they also homophobe/bigots? ---------- Post added 23-01-2014 at 18:34 ---------- Me and most of the rational people in this country. Irrational people always try to support their own irrational stance by claiming everyone else agrees with them, when in realty you haven't a clue how many people agree with you. LeMaquis
Could it be that this group of people genuinely think gay marriage is wrong for reasons other than bigotry? Other than bigotry what reason could anyone have to oppose gay marriage? I feel we are going to disagree on the definition of bigotry but let's give it a go. ---------- Post added 23-01-2014 at 18:47 ---------- And gays against gay marriage are they also homophobe/bigots? southcoast
You've stated on here often enough that your personal political preference is for national socialism. As that has only happened once in history, under the Third Reich when there was a distinct lack of any type of democracy, I think we can ignore your contribution to this debate or to any on democracy. You have made yourself look foolish on this issue before,do I really need to make you look a fool again,.......oh go on then show me where I have SPECIFICALLY said I am in favour of a national socialist government,oh and dont you the last quote you used because you made yourself look stupid last time. All sorts of people oppose all sorts of things, it definitely doesn't make them bigots. ---------- Post added 23-01-2014 at 18:50 ---------- Is that a new group? Do they beat themselves up and try to cure themselves? Not at all, I think they see marriage as another nail in the coffin of outwardly acceptable gay sexual freedom. Anglersvista
Scarcely. Is that it? You really should read more - it broadens the mind like nobodies business. Surely that should be nobody's business.
