At least the man is open about his views.

Or without shame

Agree with him or not you know what you are getting with him he doesn't hide behind hypocrisy.

Hmm..Everyone said that about Larry Craig, the self righteous anti gay Republican senator. Until he was caught cottaging :hihi:

Yeah - a crass, boorish elderly wealthy white man who'd have been happier if he'd been born a hundred or so years ago, when women still knew their place and so did johnny foreigner.

I expect you will be waiting a very long time.

I believe it was a UKIP member which stated "UKIP is not a political party, it's a pressure group", while discussing the idea that the core ideas behind UKIP are being bogged down by having to be a political party and all the responsibilities that requires. They're certainly far better at asking difficult questions of the Government than responding to them from members of the public.

And you think the Lib Dems and the Tories had a policy plan ready and waiting after the last election? They must have been bloody quick with that.

Their coalition wasnt known until after the result, and like all political parties, they do the rounds on the bus, promising the earth, then make it up as they transfer into power.

That is what UKIP will do. The whole charade of pushing party choice to the voting public is all a front by ALL of the candidates, and believe it or not, I think UKIP are no different.

Its a choice, that is all. A choice.

Wouldn't you rather a person was honest about their views ?

As I said earlier whether you agree with him or not.

The difference between UKIP and the other parties, is that when their policies were costed, questions were asked. When UKIP's policies were costed, people laughed at how gullible the people who approved and believed it must have been.

I dread to think how the conversation with the Tories would have gone if they'd had to debate getting taxi driver uniforms into the coalition agreement...

I'm happy for him to make a mockery of himself with his idiotic views yes.

Strange how he wants to shut down opposing views. I though right wingers loved freedom of speech, or is that only for when they want to make an offensive comment?

Ah but here's someone who does.

"UKIP candidate John Bickley, standing in the Wythenshawe and Sale East, by-election, took nearly £100,000 from an EU-backed fund".

Not just that but he took the money to relocate his company from Manchester to Liverpool. I bet that will go down well with the Mancs.

Hi Harvey.

You've made some good and intelligent contributions to discussions on this forum.

I'm afraid that the quoted post is not one of them:rolleyes:

So you can have utterly hideous obnoxious views but somehow those views can be soft peddled because he doesn't hide behind hypocrisy?

To be honest I don't think he has the intelligence to understand right from wrong let alone if it's hypocritical or not.

You're right on one thing though, you do know what you're getting, from his own mouth. Idiocy.
