Guest
My dentist told me to rinse with a mouthwash after and not water On the label of the mouthwash I have (Corsodil) I'm sure it says not to brush your teeth for a few minutes after using it. Guest
Brush and not rinse is what my dentist told me, especially before bed. I thought if you didn't rinse it causes sores in your mouth from the chafing effect from the toothpaste left in your mouth!

I have never had any problems with mouth since adopting this approach.
qwert
Brush and not rinse is what my dentist told me, especially before bed. Ask your dentist if he knows the links with fluoride and bone cancer and other illnesses. Ask him to provide proof that the benefits outweigh the risks. ---------- Post added 21-01-2014 at 22:43 ---------- And tap water got fluoride in it anyway init. Not up here, it don't. Which contributes to S Yorks folk having some of the worst oral health in the country. It does in the West Mids where I grew up. I think most homes in Sheffield have had fluorinated water since 2009. That's by the by anyway. If you use mouthwash then you don't need to worry about that. On Yorkshire water's website I've found this statement (though I can't see when it was published) http://www.yorkshirewater.com/policy-source/position-statements.aspx "Fluoridation We're governed by the Strategic Health Authorities on this issue. It is up to each authority to decide whether they want the water to be fluoridated. Currently no water in Yorkshire is fluoridated." Yet in the article I found yesterday http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/main-topics/local-stories/exclusive-households-in-region-have-fluoride-added-to-their-water-1-2296251 "FLUORIDE is being added to the drinking water of more than 50,000 households in Yorkshire. Around 56,000 homes in the Sheffield area receive supplies mixed with the mineral. The figure, released under the Freedom of Information Act, comes as an official investigation into the pros and cons of mixing Yorkshire's drinking water with fluoride takes place" So does it or not?? carosio
Perhaps the reason for tooth decay has more to do with sugar than anything else. The following website explains the origin and production of Flouride. http://tv.naturalnews.com/v.asp?v=42652E035A1B1BAAAE1F340B54694975
qwert
"BRITAIN allowed firms to sell chemicals to Syria capable of being used to make nerve gas, the Sunday Mail can reveal today. Export licences for potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride were granted months after the bloody civil war in the Middle East began." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/revealed-britain-sold-nerve-gas-2242520 And dentists are recommending we ingest more of this stuff... No thanks.
Pritt Stick
Qwert - botulinum toxin is poisonous but in tiny doses relieves the symptoms of spasticity and some folk use it for cosmetic purposes.
