Well let me be the first to jump in with the usual comments.

"Obviously it's a lie"

"The numbers have been altered"

"They have no idea what they're doing"

"It's STILL all Thatchers fault"

blah blah blah

You forgot "They're not proper jobs"

all little bits of good news are welcome - anything which contributes to increased tax revenues without raising tax rates should be welcomed

long may the improvements continue

and i seem to recall quite a few threads on here commenting on increasing growth, falling unemployment and falling inflation

You’ve got it … ha ha

I will give you a example of these “new” jobs , … Asda near Crystal Peaks …. Just over 6 pound an hour …. I wonder if you could get a mortgage on that kind of money … LOL

Never mind it helps keep smug people on here think that the unemployment figures mean that all is well in the economy.

Again, the new is of thousands losing and jobs and I've heard of little vancies and don't forget, because this is the biggie, the economy was halved only last march

If Osbourne has it so wrong why is our economy outperforming the rest of Europe?

Or at least that is what we are being told

EDIT

I don't see the proliferation of zero hour contracts, part-time work and keeping kids at school until they pass exams, because that is the latest pressure point, an improvement in the employment situation.
