Penistone999
Is this because you understand the damage mortgage fraud does to law abiding people who are trying to put a roof over their head, and believe that mortgage fraud is an offence that people should be jailed for? Or for another reason? Can you imagine what would happen if they did actually start jailing everybody who has committed mortgage fraud. We'd solve the housing crisis due to the resulting prison building boom Its a common practice, a bit of mortgage fraud .......... Robinson was just unlucky he got caught. But why we lock people up for fraud beggers belief . Fraudsters are hardly a danger to the public.

Is it when you ask your bank to give you a sum of money for a house, but you spend it on drugs and callgirls?

Don't fall for that one, old Walter Mitty is no student landlord. The number of his student lets used to vary with every post, and he also talked about the council tax that his students paid. I'd guess he has a bedsit near Bramall Lane that he rents out when someone's desperate enough.

One of the co-defendants was identified as having obtained mortgages worth £640,000 fraudulently. This is common behaviour you believe?
