SpikeMac
Its a common practice, a bit of mortgage fraud .......... Robinson was just unlucky he got caught. But why we lock people up for fraud beggers belief . Fraudsters are hardly a danger to the public. Mortgage fraudsters should be strung up, locked up, fed ground glass and electrocuted. As should anyone who indulges in as much moral relativism as you do.
chem1st
Are you saying that the law should be changed and some cases of fraud should attract more lenient sentences because of your obsession with all matters housing? No, I'm saying if this man is being jailed for it, so should everybody else who has done the same. ---------- Post added 24-01-2014 at 18:33 ---------- How would this solve your housing crisis? Surely it may even make it worse as we would have more people's houses being re-possesed and their assets stripped. These people would need a place to live after being released from prison for their non-violent crime. The sheer amount of prison places created would provide ample living space that could be converted to proper housing after people have served their sentences. LeMaquis
No, I'm saying if this man is being jailed for it, so should everybody else who has done the same. Do you have evidence that other people committing the same crime as Robinson haven't been jailed? Take into account the fact that no two crimes and criminals are usually the same. skinz
It really takes a stretch of the imagination to link Robinson and the housing crisis as one.

anywebsite
It really takes a stretch of the imagination to link Robinson and the housing crisis as one. If lots of people are fraudulently getting higher mortgages than they should that will inflate property prices.
