Hospitals dont just treat whites for cancer and leukaemia do they?

So you dont have a point to make then.

Fair enough.

Was just trying to add to the debate with a similar, but different, scenario from a few years ago. That's all.

Others on here have posted about the need to try and reach it to 'difficult to reach' groups. Another example is adopters and foster parents from black communities - they are under-represented so people that work in the field undertake additional work to try and attract parents from these groups to become adopters. It's pretty simple and I struggle to work out what the OP was concerned about with their original post.

There was a problem with the uptake of bone marrow donors from the Afro-Caribbean community, this caused great difficulties treating leukaemia for Afro-Caribbean patients, so a charity was set up by someone who suffered the loss of a loved one to try to promote a change in this situation.

And some people have a problem with this? Madness.

Perhaps the people expressing outrage that 'it's not fair' that some minority group are percieved to be getting special treatment, would like the illnesses so they don't feel left out

Yup. I'm sure that white people would love to have sickle cell anaemia - a truly excruciating condition at times - so they don't have to have these pesky black only charities.
