Which Car Should I Choose?

Hi all just need your opinions on which car you think I should go for?

There both a Seat Leon 1.8 20v Turbo

 

Seat Leon

Red

X Reg (2000)

80k Miles

No Service History or Previous MOT's Only Log Book

Don't know if cam belt been done or if it's had a service etc

Standard cloth interior

Standard alloys

Good body work and drives really nice

Come with full MOT and no Tax

£1800

 

OR

 

Seat Leon

Orange/Bronze

Y Reg (2001)

74k Miles

Full Service History

Full leather Interior

FR Alloy Wheels

Cam belt done at 50k miles

Expansion Tank Problem red light comes on sometimes reading empty when it's not

Fuel filter making a clicking noise, know issue

Water leak both front foot wells are wet.

Body work scratches etc

Not had test drive yet but been told drives well

Comes with Full MOT and no Tax

£2150?

The second one with the history sounds the better choice, has the seller told you about all the issues? A Water leak into the car can be a difficult job.. Ie dash and carpets out to locate etc

 

Personally I would walk away from both until you found a better one.

The heater matrix is leaking on the last one, personally I would would walk away from both of those cars,

The seller didn't. (The car is at a dealers, he bought it at auction) We got the previous owners telephone number from the service history and gave him a ring. He's been very helpful :) He had the car himself for the last 10 years, he traded it in for something bigger.
