WeX
No, if you want sun in Feb go further south. Even the Cyprus is relatively cold. Head to the canaries as others have suggested.
blake
depends whether it is early Feb or late Feb. It also depends whether it is northern Spain, or southern Spain, which you have not specified in the OP (although other people on this thread have got it into their head that you mean southern Spain). 4.5 hours flying time to the Canaries is not a long flight anyway. If you want warm weather, don't mess about. Make it happen.
buck
I spent many a February in Gibraltar while in the Navy, as far south as it gets in Iberia. It's pleasant generally, not quite warm enough for swimming but OK otherwise.

francypants
Mainland Spain and the Balearics are too unpredictable at this time of the year. Sometimes quite pleasant but can also get bitterly cold ( Been there done that ) Of course the further south you go the chances are it will be milder BUT it can also still be disappointing. We went one year ( albeit to the Costa Blanca ) and it was so cold and frosty the hotel put on the central heating, it was too cold to venture out because you ended up with chapped lips..... it was freezing. If you're wanting a bit of warmth/sun I'd definitely go to the canaries.......... it's only about an hour difference in flight times.

It is about 900 miles from southern Spain to Tenerife.

To be fair it is a more direct flight path to Tenerife that it is to Costa Blanca
