If, as we are continually told, you need the highest wages to attract the best talent

Not if they lie on their applications. I wonder what the percentage of genuine and non-genuine candidatesfor any given high-salaried job is?

The joys of punishing children , the desire to correct through physical punishment, requiring the application of PHYSICAL and PSYCHOLOGICAL PAIN, by the perverted.

The morality of viewing punishment and its apparent curative properties suggest there is a propensity of closet pedophiles on this site, who admire the sadistic, and who secretly advocate sadism.

Its interesting to note those who inadvertently did not realise they were unconsciously exposing their perverted nature while pretending to support a distorted form of morality.

I would calls such people as having pedophile tenancies. The damaged advocating damage on others. Its the only language pedophiles understand.

Teaching kids to have your perverted outlook would truly be sadistic.

Please explain my pervert outlook?

Are you suggesting beating children physically and/or psychologically is a good thing, as through dismissing my outlook you are suggesting such practices are acceptable, if Not desired?

Is physical abuse to children something legally associated with pedophilia?

Your comments suggest you should discuss this subject with your friends to get their take your views, if you dare that is.

So what you're saying is that everyone that physically chastises a child has the propensity to sexually abuse the child? Would this mean that every boxer a Judo expert would also be natuarally inclined to act in pornographic video's?

You have all gone veering off the point, which was about which kinds of punishments are effective (by which I mean they act as a deterrent/ help modify the child's behaviour, to stop them misbehaving again) and which do not.

Speculating about whether chastising children physically is tantamount to sexual abuse is to miss the point. All I said was that corporal punishment does not work and that it is only an attractive option to the beater/those who do not understand how children's behaviour is most effectively changed for the better.

It's the 'easy' option, sure, for people with a very simple mindset and little imagination/knowledge of child psychology, but it does not work. The best you can say about it is that ion some cases it does not appear to do any lasting harm. (In many other cases, it does). It certainly does not improve behaviour in children.

I doubt there will be a punishment that will work for every child because they are all different. For some detention is the best deterrent, for others it will be some kind of physical punishment.

I wonder what Gove will say when things don't improve under his governance?

Oh, he'll blame the teachers, as usual!

It'll be Orwell's 'Boxer' scenario all over again.

Whatever you say, drear. You're talking nonsense as usual.
