Creepy bits, gory bits, even sad bits, with a really unsettling ending, made all the better by the lack of CGI and special effects. Hardy was rubbish in Legend, mind you he is rubbish anyway, just the odd movie here and there that might be just noteworthy but on the whole he is nothing more than a pretty boy with a reputation for being extremely awkward and moody, the reality is he is one of the worst actors in the business. Its very violent and gory which isnt the problem as it fits in with the story - and it is an 18 - but it just tries a bit too hard to be all arthouse/tarantino. All weird camera angles, slow motion shots, really loud music and sound effects. However...Despite my really short attention span I couldnt switch it off for some reason. It was too dark and it hardly differed from the other films - the plot, such as it was, was humdrum - I zoned out after about 20 mins.
