Magnum Force 1973, 10/10

Watched probably 30 times during the years and I am ready for at least 30 times more.

"Man's got to know his limitations", Clint is the legend!

Dirty Harry is one of my top 10 films of all time but I could like the sequels anywhere near as much, Magnum Force is the best of a pretty bad bunch though.

Its ok, an interesting remake of "Alien Nation" I thought.

It's a bog standard 'cop escorts person whilst being chased by baddies' plot with fantasy elements bolted on. Midnight Run meets Lord Of The Rings crossed with Training Day. Watchable and entertaining enough but nothing special.

Ah, but Midnight Run was a comedy, a spoof on all the movie types you mentioned, bloody hilarious.I don't think there was a death in the entire film, despite all the action. They don't make them like Midnight Run anymore, one of my all time favourites.

Absolutely agree. I watched it again only last week (9/10 btw... classic) but when you boil it down it's largely the same premise.

Logan Lucky 7/10

Channing Tatum and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren from The Last Jedi) play brothers who embark on a heist during the major NASCAR event.

Daniel Craig is also involved who gets sprung from jail to help out.

It's a good watch and has some funny moments that each character plays to make the film entertaining.

Whatever Happened To Baby Jane - 7.5/10 - Fading movie stars Joan Crawford and Bette Davis play faded movie stars in this Gothic horror, both leads are excellent and its a great film.

Spider-man: Homecoming - 7/10 - Spidey was my comic book super hero of choice as a lad but his filmic appearances have been a little odd, some awful 70's attempt, the great Sam Raimi films, the pointless Andrew Garfield re-boot and now this, it features him in his high school days and I quite enjoyed it.
