tinfoilhat
Baywatch. Believe it or not I never watched the TV series - even my hormonal teenage brain thought it was guff. The film however - well it was full of swearing, nob gags, implausible plot lines and semi clad people with fantasy bodies. I liked it. Sure I could have been half an hour shorter but if you take it for what it is (a tackier bad boys film) that doesn't take itself seriously then why not. 7/
nikki-red
Circle. 6.5/10 Really simple, not many special effects, mostly just dialogue. Its a quite interesting look at humanity and morality, makes you ask yourself 'What would I do?' Worth a watch.
Funky_Gibbon
The French Connection - 8/10 A classic. Gene Hackman at his best. "Did you ever pick your feet in Poughkeepsie?"

nikki-red
The Ritual 7/10 I know theres been quite a lot of negativity about it, but I liked it. I thought it had just the right amount of humour, and the whole Norse God thing is quite interesting. I did realise halfway through that Id actually read the book a couple of years ago tho. Naive
Damn it, I just signed up to Netflix specifically to watch that, oh well I'll have to cancel when its time to start paying for the subscription. Watch “The men who stare at goats” instead then. That’s how I spent this snowy afternoon. A very odd, but compelling film. Jon Ronson’s books are worth a read too. star1234
I've just watched 'The Mountain Between Us', with the fabulous Idris Elba & Kate Winslett. It's about a random couple who are thrown together as a result of a plane crash. I wouldn't have necessarily put the two of them together but it's superbly acted by both of the above, (there's only about 4 characters & a dog in the plot), but I was crying buckets at the end. I'd have to give it a 10/10. It's filmed in beautiful British Columbia too, which is one of my favourite parts of the world.
top4718
The Nice Guys - 7/10 - I didn't like Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, found it overrated, this one is a 70's set black comedy thriller with two PI's getting together to solve the apparent suicide of a porn star. Funny and quite violent in places, like an old fashioned buddy cop movie.
Chelle-82
Texas Blood - I just didnt get it! it was like watching a cheap US drama series but in a film 0/10 Southern Fury - I can only describe it as mental! Nicolas Cage's over acting and the non essential sex scenes are just random! 3/
