The Woman In The Window - 6.5/10

A woman with agoraphobia spends her evenings watching her neighbours in their homes and witnesses an act of violence. Psychological thriller starting Amy Adams, Gary Oldman and Julianne Moore.

A bit derivative of other films perhaps but entertaining enough.

I'd planned to watch this, but the reviews I'd briefly looked at all said the same - "Great book, terrible film adaptation" so I'll give it a miss.

I dunno why, but watching Amy Adams gives me the creeps, and watching Gary Oldman gives me the creeps, and watching Julianne Moore also gives me the creeps.

I'd class this film as a psychological horror than a thriller.

Probably fair.

Also, if they all give you the creeps then that's perfect casting for the film 😄

Army of the Dead (Netflix) - 7.5/10

A group of mercenaries agree to break into a Las Vegas casino vault. The only problem is Las Vegas has been overrun by zombies.

Super-high concept Dave Bautista action movie by Zack Snyder. Dumb but fun.

Cruella 8/10.

Kind of an origin story of 101 Dalmatians baddie Cruella De Vil, starring Emma Stone in the lead role.

Beat me to Mr Allen.

Watched it last night with her that should be obeyed (sometimes).

Totally enjoyed it

Excellent special effects,

full of unexpected twist's.

Good music , bit of Anarchy

characters to love or hate - Excellent.

& plenty of 60's, 70's motors inc a GPO Billy Bantam.

(weren't those Austin / Commer J4 vans horrible things to drive)

I'm going 9+ out of 10.

Fully Recommend.

Keep safe.

Give it a  6 /10 . With all the hype I thought it would be a lot better .

It also doesn't help that Dave Bautista has the screen presence of a Goldfish and no mic skills, he was the same as a wrestler IMO.

Same could be same about non actor Jason Statham . What are mic skills ?

I think that's a bit unfair on both of them (although more on Statham than Bautista). Yes they're not character actors and their range isn't  all that varied but as action movie stars go there have been far worse.

Personally I'm quite looking forward to Statham's next film, the Guy Ritchie directed Wrath of Man.
