Agreed.

I've read the book, and seen the television mini series.

Both brilliant. Salem's Lot is my favourite Stephen King adaptation.

Carrie is very good, as is Delores Claiborne.

The original Carrie film was Brilliant.

I’ll have to make a note of The Shining. I haven’t seen this film.

I'm going to disagree with @hackey lad (as usual) The Shining is one of the best horror films ever made (up there with The Exorcist) its grim from the opening title music through to the snow bound ending, amazing film.

Not everyone enjoys the same films, but I will keep my eye open for The Shining.

The Pale Blue Eye - 6/10

In 1830 a retired detective is summon to West Point Miltary Academy to investigate who removed the heart of a deceased cadet as his body lay in the morgue after he'd apparently killed himself in a nearby forest. He asks another cadet to help him with his investigation, a young Edgar Allen Poe.

The Devil to Pay

When her husband disappears a woman who lives in an isolated community in the mountains has to pay his dept back to ruthless powerful family.  If not they will kill her young son.

Its a bit blood thirsty in parts for me.

8/10

Saw that last night . Not bad  . 6/10 for me .
