willman
The Guest - pretty impressed with this one. 7.5/10 He makes Liam Neeson look like a boy scout.

HJO-1403
Lets Be Cops 6/10 If you want a good film - don't go If you want something lighthearted to laugh at - go Almost like a rubbish spin of 21 Jump Street.

Frohike
Resident Evil : Retribution - 6/10 Well, the fifth in the film franchise and it could/should have been so much better than it was. Really wanted more from this outing having liked the previous four. Where has the horror gone?

johncocker
Prometheus/ 2/10... This has to be one of the worst sci fi films I've ever seen. It looks nice, good cast. But the script is awful. Things happen and are quickly forgotten - unless they're needed to pick up the pace. The dialogue is terrible. The film is a series of seemingly random events tied together by questions it never bothers to answer. Events happen to characters that could mentally and emotionally destroy a person, and nobody says ANYTHING? All of its events are meaningless. At any given scene in the film, ask 'why?' and you'll struggle to find answer. anyone with a modicum of intelligence--of both the emotional and intellectual kind--this film is an utter insult. A plot made out of tracing paper made by a pre-schooler would be more robust. No wonder we're awash with psychics, Creationists, aromatherapists etc etc. ridley scott should just retire ffs
top4718
28 Days Later - 8/10 - Had a rewatch after a few years and apart from the shakeycam is still a great horror. The Double - 3/10 - Tries to be a cross between David Lynch and Terry Gilliam and fails miserably, I didn't make the end.
Frohike
Jaws - 10/10 What else can you say, it doesn't get much better than that! What did they know about film making 40 years ago that they don't know today?
top4718
Jaws - 10/10 What else can you say, it doesn't get much better than that! What did they know about film making 40 years ago that they don't know today? My all time favourite, it has everything - tension, suspense, great characters and a rubber shark.
