tinfoilhat Posted October 18, 2014 Share Posted October 18, 2014 47 Ronin. Keanu reeves stars in this ancient samurai thing. It isn't as bad as that initial sentence suggests. It's not Curse of the golden flower but it's not awful. A couple of set pieces weren't bad and reeves and his fellow co-stars, particularly Hiroyuki sanada of helix fame who was excellent throughout, were damn nimble for a bunch of 50 year olds. Overall, I thought is was a very well executed movie with plenty of mystery and suspense.
