9/10 'A Theory of Everything' - powerful, moving (and not at all 'pedestrian' as Jeffrey Shaw opines). If Redmayne's performance made Hawking feel as though he was 'watching himself', that says a lot. Despite the grim theme (Hawking's physical deterioration and his struggle to communicate intelligibly whilst his mind remains brilliant), it is actually more inspirational than depressing.

Taken 3......2/10. Terrible really, but then I'm a Neeson fan. Full of plot holes & improbabilities. Dare I say..a remarkable lack of blood for all the goings on & the bloke in the budgie smugglers wrestling with Liam at the end was not a pleasant image.

Cyberbully (2015). 10/10. Not sure if it was supposed to be a horror film, but this scared the pants off me.

Dial M For Murder - 7/10 - Hitchcock thriller that starts brilliantly peters out a little towards the end but still very good.

The Inbetweeners 2 - 4/10 - The tv series was excellent with much of the humour coming from the dialogue between the lead characters, the first film was ok but this misses the mark completely relying on more pratical joke type humour, some of the jokes fall so flat its cringeworthy.

Tower Block - 4.5/10 - Brit thriller with a totally impausible plot and a very Scooby Doo ending.

This was remade in the late 1990s with Michael Douglas and Gwyneth Paltrow, called 'A Perfect Murder'. Very different to the original, but worth seeing nonetheless.

In Darkness - 7/10 - Holocaust film based on the true story of Jews hiding in the sewers of Lvov, similar although not as good as The Pianist its still a worthy watch, a bit confusing at times and a shorter run time may have suited it better, the sewer scenes are very well done a capture the claustrophobic atmosphere.
