Stranza
Lucy 5/10 It didn't know what it wanted to be. Sci-fi/action/super violent It could have been good but the story was diluted too much.
lawro
Shaun the Sheep an excellent example of great British film making. Unique, simple yet genuinely funny in an eccentric British way. Forget Pixel this is real animated cinema
janie48
"The Theory Of Everything" 10/10, about Stephen Hawking. Its a sad yet deeply moving and inspiring film with such depth and feeling, the best film I've seen at the Cinema in a long time, if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. The actors playing Jane and Stephen were brilliant, especially Eddie Redmayne as Stephen. And the music soundtrack was beautiful.
top4718
The Hoax - 6/10 - Richard Gere plays Clifford Irving the journalist who faked an autobiography of Howard Hughes in the early 70's.
Flanker7
Wild - 7/10. Missed so many chances to excel. The story = flash backs to Mum saying she was nice and special. The Journey = no real excitement or portrayal of the grueling nature of the walk. The Scenery = there must have been so much better to see. How this could have been worth two Academy nominations beat me. Inherent Vice - ?? - I dunno.
popsicle
The Big Hero 6 - it's a so-so really. I love Disney but it's all really the same formula lately... but I'd still recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a 90 minute fun, worry-free ride. Frohike
The Imitation Game - 10/10 Simply an astonishing film. BC as Alan Turing is brilliant. Well worth going to see. This country should be ashamed of how we treated people back then.
top4718
Cold In July - 6.5/10 - Quite slow moving but with plenty of twists and an ending worth staying around for, Don Johnson is particularly good in a relatively minor role.

top4718
The Brood - 6.5/10 - Early Cronenberg "body" horror that apart from the fashions has aged quite well, still has some shock value.
