This of course is yet another step to the end times as it is common knowledge that soon so many country's will have passed equal marriage that God will have no choice but to come down to earth and stop gays getting married himself. Seriously though, this is a brilliant step towards marriage equality and means that now NI is the only place in the UK which hasn't yet legalized same-sex marriage. But i suspect that were going to have to wait for a long time to same-sex marriage happens in NI or the republic. There is also a big question which is- what all the bigots in Scotland are going to do now? Some will try to find another progressive issue to try and stop. Others will be forced to move to NI as refugees to avoid the terror of same-sex marriage. But you know what? I don't think the traditional values people will be hanging up their pitchforks, and their (literally interpreted) bibles and korans, just yet though.
