scousemouse
Maybe we both had the same milkman!!! Ours was called Harry Booker, I seem to remember (?) he came from Dronfield Woodhouse. He was more commonly known as 'buggering Booker' as this was the word he used generally as he started a sentence!!!!!
top4718
Dairy Crest do deliveries although at 75p a pint it's pricey the convenience is great and we rarely run out, plus I hate supermarkets so would rather pay more than buy it from them! hillsbro
Maybe we both had the same milkman!!! Ours was called Harry Booker, I seem to remember (?) he came from Dronfield Woodhouse. ..Well, if so then I feel sorry for the poor horse as we lived near Malin Bridge!..Apart from the milk not being bottled, it was also non-pasteurised and tasted all the better for it. Green top milk - oh, the nostalgia!
Zinger549
We have one and he is really good. I don't know how much we pay but he comes about 5:30-6:30 am. I can hear his electric motor from my bedroom.
lectrolove
To me it tastes better than cheapo supermarket milk but that might be imagination. Agree, you're not imagining it. I think supermarket milk is pasteurised twice to give it a longer shelf life but it compromises the taste. So milkman milk does taste better but may go off sooner.
