Does anyone know what this plug socket is?

Hi quite a random question but I have always wondered what this plug socket is in my bathroom close to the floor it is marked MK and has a single round hole and is about roughly 1 inch in diameter never used it when I was having my shower re done I asked the electrician and he didn't no lol

It's either an old socket for an electric shaver, or a bird box for the world's smallest bird ... the wasp. Common sense sides with the latter, but I may, although unlikely, be wrong.

Haha it is actually really strange how it is close to the floor I thought it might be for a shaver but you would have had the socket higher. Behind the wall there is a switch with a fuse next to is the says 'BS 1362 fuse' I don't no if it will be a heater because there was a light heater in there when we moved in 26 years ago and there is already a heating duct in there too. Also I have not taken the front off always been like that. thanks
