It's not 'magic', it's an illusion! It's impossible to throw a playing card through a window or put someones mobile phone in a bottle of beer. People who have died like this have always been found close to or directly by a naked flame. That's the one, but they managed to show with some more work that it was possible with bed linen and a cigarette as well - cigarette starts a small fire that then smoulders off for a long time and consumes the torso.
