skinz
It's a myth that northerners are more friendly..... I'm a sheffielder and have many friends from all over the uk....most of them met through my love of caravanning. This idea that Sheffield folks are more friendly is an urban myth created from ignorance....and I suggest by Sheffielders who have never travelled further than Skeggy for a holiday. Would that be in a caravan?
Allen
Would that be in a caravan? No....it's illegal to travel in a caravan. You need to be upfront in the car towing it.
megalithic
My Southern friends seem to have a much brighter outlook on life compared to the dour lot up here. I must admit i'm pretty dour too, being Sheffield born and bred. Maybe i'm a novelty to them ?
Mecky
You only have to look on the forum to realise that the happy and friendly part is a total myth. Perhaps it isn't in contrast to people down sarf
whiteowl
I agree - In my experience I've always found random Internet forums are the best way to judge people from any given geographic location......
