MAC33
Had a bad swelling in my mouth whilst having a bad toothache. Small tooth was removed two days later. Was given three or four needles to numb the nerve. Extraction was pain free but now my bottom lip has not regained feeling. Still a bit numb after nearly 5 weeks. I'm worried. MAC33
I have but it seems this numbness is not uncommon especially in the tongue. In fact for some its permanent.
neeeeeeeeeek
They will have caught the nerve. They usually warn you that any tooth extraction can effect the nerve and cause numbness, that at its worst can be permanent, but usually clears up. That was what my dentist told me when I had a wisdom tooth out. It's the risk you take! I still needed it taking out.
